So far it doesn't seem like anyone will be covering the event. I thought I would go ahead and start this thread as the guys will be waking soon to get down to business today. Unfortunately, I have conflicts tomorrow but will be heading down to Manteo tomorrow afternoon for a late start to the tournament party for the rest of the week. My dad fished the Alice Kelly Sunday (yesterday?), and went 0-2 on whites while the top placers in the charity tournament tore it up. The top 3 consisted of 2 blues, 9 whites, and 3 sails....and that's 3 boats. If you ask me it's shaping up to be a hot week of fishing.
Anyways, the whole point of this thread is coverage and hopefully I'm going to take my camera every day besides tomorrow to provide some pictures. I wish I was fishing but it's not looking that way unless I fun fish with the pops this week so I'll be at the docks hanging out attempting to add on to the excellent WMO coverage. Good Luck to all the members participating and I'm hoping to meet some of you this week. Tight Lines!
