Please keep the crew of the Phat Mann in your prayers. A member of the team was checked into the emergency room last night, and underwent surgery this morning. Everything is said to have went well. We wish them a safe and speedy recovery.

"Don't just talk about it, do it"
Thanks for all the support. You don't know what it means to me and our crew.
Many know my wife Amy is truly the backbone of the Phat Mann team. She may not have the perfect dropback honed yet but it is pdg but what a team "mate".
At lines out a 3:30, everyone is healthy and fine. Yet sometime during the 2+ hour ride in, she got severe abdominal pains in the stateroom where noone could hear her crying for help.
As nappers begin to stir as we near the inlet, I am summoned from the bridge only to find her in bad shape.
Thanks so much to the Sunset Marina to take us by golf cart to our car parked so far away and our crew Dave, Kyle, their families) and Charlie for their support.
She painfully endures a nearly three hour wait in the ER but we are told to be patient. Come to find out, somehow we were supposed to be priority and got lost in the systems while others watched in awe that we remained uncalled.
Finally at 10 pm some pain meds are provided which helped but by 2 am still no idea of the problem.
Earlier, While in the waiting room, oh no! got to get the catch report in on time and need to make a lay day decision. And Amy says, go fish honey it supposed to get nasty on Wednesday; at least wait till morning on the layday call. The crew and I knew noone is going anywhere till we we what's happening with Amy's health.
By 2 am still no idea of the problem and Amy sends me back to the boat for rest knowing the next test won't be coplete till 4 am. At 6 am she calls and let's me know it's time to come back before her appendics have to come out.
Thanks for all the prayers last night and throughout the day from those knowing what we were gong through.
The great news is as of now there are no complications and she is resting comfortably. Thanks for all the support from so many, many we do not even know. Even though things were screwed up getting into to see care personel, once those folks were given a chance to do their thing, they were great.
The bad news, doc's orders are no more fishing for her for 30 days. That wipes out her favorite 3 wks of the year with PCBGT and MA500 coming up.
Yet rather than go back to Virginia to recover, she wants to remain near to see how things go in the tourney. With so many friends, a great crew, and the perfect wife, I think team Phat Mann had a great victory today. No matter what happens the rest of the week!
Thank you all,
Mark
get well soon amy.....go get'em phatman
