    Thanks all!

To correct a bit, the fish we released was 46" and the fish we kept was 48" caught on a rainbow squid bar, not 42" fish on mamba bar.

The water had moved out 14 miles in about 12 hours. kept going and going in the morning and finally started to see the thermometer jump around the last contour line on our chip, 8700 feet. the break we fished was another 5 miles past that... so 1500 fathoms is just a guess...

when we found the 63 degree water we were 35nm from the 100 fathom line at its closest point.

Jay, just got in and haven't fueled up.. probably around 270 gallons.

    Stew,
Great job on the BFT. The run was well worth it.
