    Look familiar?
Nice talk in a thread about a little girls prom... You knew full well her friends would be reading...

Now back to this thread... I agree with Tim's decision to keep his credentials to himself. When someone does post up their accomplishments they often get stalkers like you to derail every damn thread they write...

Grander..well nice to have you post here. Yep, know the boat, not back in those days in Nantucket, although pretty sure ive seen it there a few times. It used to live just south of the PGA bridge on the east side, light blue hull then.

Perhaps you know Phil Wetmore, he taught me how to Bluefin fish.

Congrats on catching Giants, i do remember the bite back then.

Wireman, I stand corrected. Congrats to you as well. Certainly, a significant feat, which could be questioned by anyone as a boast without proper backup.

Bluntly, you only appear in my threads when there are negatives happening. It gets' tiring, as not once, have ever heard a positive note from you on anything we do. So you pile on to a thread that was merely started to let people know about our products after the fact, yea your going here from me. Good, Bad, or Ugly..think about it next time.

Im not a chest thumper, I do what I do, to the best of my ability with the talents and experience I have. I know we make great products, which are tournament quality in all aspects right down to the rigging details. To get to know me is easy, I talk to anyone, anytime with fair, honest answers.
I don't cover the internet with my credentials, don't make claims the have grey areas, or unchallengeable based on a finite fishery or space in time. I don't have time to write volumes about our fishing for the last 35 years. Heck we hardly ever took photos, up until recently, as it was not a business then it was just straight up love for the game.

Last I checked, Pelagics don't know and don't single out a particular brand they like more. Pretty sure they are unaware, who made a lure, bar, chain or hook they hit.

    Grander,

I choose the name CanyonGear, due to where I fished my entire life.

Nothing more, and the domain name was available. Which I believe was true luck, and an omen, since one word domain names are very very difficult to get.

The Kaufmans, make wonderful marine products. They also, call it Canyon Gear International.

    Which is at www.canyongearinternational.com

Which to us was far enough away from plain old vanilla, CanyonGear.

We don't compete, I don't sell stuff they sell, and do not plan on it.

Next issue. Since im in the answering questions mode.

    Thank you Tim

Thank you Tim, I appreciate that. I'm very proud to have worked under Rich as he taught me a lot and is one of the very best in the industry, period. The giant fishing he, Terry, and I shared up north was nothing short of insane, and I reflect back on those days often.

The only thread you and I butted heads on was a thread about tieing up to lobster gear, so not sure why you think I'm out to get you, but that is certainly not the case. Your pruducts look nice and I'm sure they work great.

Fresh start moving forward, and best of luck with your company. I look forward to meeting you one day soon.

    Wireman,

by the way, ive read alot of your posts.

You owe DeepC, a major league, genuine, sincere apology.

That is entirely up to you.

You do what you want. The BS between you went way to far, especially in the Mini thread.

    That's how I see it.

I would say this to you whether he and I know each other or not makes no diff.

You have been way over the line with him.

If your in the bury the hatchet mode, do it.

Your never going to be buds..at least do the right thing.

    Just my .02 cents.
