    The whole winter is pretty awsome, usually the bigger fish show up in winter, but you never know with this fishery because this past Winter and Summer have been showing big fish.

    Nice catch, it's great to see one with size like that. It seems we've been seeing a good number of swords this year in the mid atlantic however the feeling I get is that they are averaging about 65lbs and I wouldn't mind seeing the minimum size come up on them.

    When I was in the Baltimore last week there were several longliners there all reporting multiple sword catches and I did hear of at least one with size. I hope we see this fish continue to come back.

    50 wide Finore wrapped w/ 80 momoi. 18 pounds at strike, never had to push up the drag although at one point, I thought we weren't going to stop him but he settled and still jumped quite a bit.

    Now that is a beautiful fish! Don't think we'll be down to Florida for a while though. Hubby has decided to repower our boat!!! Only...still undecided suzies or yamaies.....However, that swordfish looks like he'd be taking us for a ride!
