Perfect Fit Tuff-Coat II Kevlar lined gloves

Has anyone used Perfect Fit Tuff-Coat II Kevlar lined gloves, to leader or wire big fish?

A friend works on a drill ship off the coast of Louisiana (near Bullwinkle) where he catches Yellowfin > 100 LB with a Penn 950SS loaded with 100 LB braid. He tells me the braid will not slip through these gloves even without a wrap, and it will not cut into your hand when a strain is pulled. In fact, it seems a knife or broken glass won't cut you either. Graingers has them, or they can be found on the web for less than $15

Looks like that could go into my toy collection. I have some leather palm, kevlar stitch Junk yard dog ones for medium duty but that looks better. I use the orange "snot" gloves for light stuff, the Junk yard dogs for medium, I have a couple pair of welders dressed with the orange for heavy and another set wiith plastic casts built in to keep my bones from crush breaking on real big fish...

    Hey Deep,

Perfect Fit also has the KV-303 which is Kevlar fiber and stainless steel lined. And they are only a couple bucks more

I think theirs is meshed Where I need rigid and crush proof. They make the Junkyard Dogs that I have and love as well. That model you show though looks like a step up...

    Yo Marty,

They are waaay up there, and use 2 or 3 rebar grappling hook type gaffs to bring them up. This is just one of many like it, that he has caught...

He just said he can pull a pretty good strain on the braid and it does not hurt his hand through the glove. That's why I asked if anyone has wired bigguns with these.

Here's a 40 and a 50 he caught last week, and the gaffs can be seen. These have just showed up there (Discoverer Enterprise), no big ones have been seen yet this year.
