Panama Dream Trip Help

I've always wanted to go to Panama to enjoy the world class fishing. My wife is from there and her uncle is in the states visiting relatives.

He called today and told me to tell him when I want to go down and fish. He said he was going to charter the boat and coordinate all the fishing arrangements for 5 days of fishing at Pinas Bay.

What I would like to here from the folks that have been there, what is the best time of the year to schedule this trip. It is truly a dream trip, all my wife and I would be responsible for would be to get to Panama.

I would like to primarly target billfish trolling as well as jigging for whatever I can get to bite.

Any input would be very helpful.

Far as I'm concerned it doesn't matter what time you get there just get there. I suppose prime time would be from Nov. to April but went during the rainy season in June and the fishing was incredible and the rain wasn't bad.

The diversity in the fish and fishing is beyond compare in my book. You won't be disapointed.

FROM MAY TO AUGUST IS REAL GOOD FOR MARLIN AT PINAS BAY.I HAVE A ODGE THAT IS CALLED HOOKED ON PANAMA FISHING RESORT WHICH IS NORTH OF CANAL.PINAS BAY IS SOUTH AND YOU WON'T GO WRONG DOWN THERE.THE FISHIG SHOULD BE GREAT.
