    Panama Charter...

A buddy of mine is going down to Panama in February, he is an avid sportfisherman and has fished marlin tournaments in Bahamas and full moons in St. Thomas. He wants to see a Black and get on some YFT. He needs a full day trip or two and has lodgings, what captains and what boats should he get in touch with? He likes to get wet and get to em quick. All the best. Thank you.

The best fishing in Panama is a 6+ hour drive (one hour flight) from Panama City.

Really, where does he need to fly to from Panama City, and what boat should he get in touch with? This guy is gonna be down the first week in March and is chomping at the bit. Any suggestions I could relay would be much appreciated.

Give Chad a shout at Paradise Fishing Lodge. They are located in the heart of the Hannibal - Montuosa - Coiba region and are consistent producers and excellent hosts. Tell him i sent you!

I'm always skeptical when a website does not list rates (prices). I wonder is it if you have to ask you can't afford it; or is it they don't like to post them so they can charge depending on who's asking....

Definitely talk with Chad at Paradise Lodge......should be lots of Marlin and Tuna around that time of year. Tropic Star, although a great destination for Marlin, will not provide the YFT option like that of Hannibal, Montuosa, etc, which has it ALL.
