    Pair of 80# 'hoo today

Just had a call from Fishermens Fleet, La Paz owner, Capt David Jones. He went fishing today and caught a pair of 80# class wahoo's on SuperBars - a WahooBar and a RuckusRaiser fishing from a super panga. One with a Bomboy lure as a chasebait and the other on a Ron Arkana Little Reidee chasebait. One other good 'hoo landed and a big one lost. Pictures and video's soon.

    Gata Gordo,

Sorry, dunno other than La Paz. A lot of wahoo have been showing up in the last few days. David is back after them today, but I will check with him later on the area. If he wants to keep it under his hat, I'll PM you.

He said they didn't have anything in their stomachs, which usually means they were actively feeding and barfing up the baits before they got landed. We are suspecting squid, not fin bait. No baits seen up top & no birds probably equals calamar.

Get by with a little help from my Fred

Sorry that the pictures took a day or two. I of course got greedy after catchin' these (the two big ones went 35 kilos a piece on the scale) and had to go out the next day. You guessed it, skunk city, although we saw a bunch, they just didn't wanna' eat. Got these by bringing 'em in on the Pro Squid Ruckus Raiser and Green Machine Wahoo Bar from Capt. Fred. Fun to watch and they work. Grilled some up with jalapeno/orange butter last night, goddamn that's good. Thanks Capt.

    Cabo

    Sorry Senor,
In the words of Sargeant Schultz, "I know nothing", in regards Cabo current fishing. The weather has been warming, spring has sprung,a middle aged mans' heart turns to fishing, and I wish you good luck,
