overnite in the Wash 7/19

Took Bills 320 WC for our 1st over nite trip of the year to the Washinton our crew was Bill ,Noah,Wayne Hoffman and me . Stopped at the "Camel Toe " on the way out looking for a BFT or 2 but got no bites even trolled in the dark a bit with under water lights on and glow sticks in the spreader bar and daisy chain . Moved out to the Wash for the nite to try for a sword or a mako and some fresh squid baits . the squids were only eating our live spot and not our squid jigs ,so no fresh bait . We got 3 dolphin on the nite part but that was it . In the morning we caught 9 more gaffers and some skippys but no YFT . move ed back inshore to try the BFT thing again. Fished along side some 2 tone porpoise but no more bites . Did wind up with a cooler full of gaffers so all in all it was another fun nite and day on the water .

How did the 320EC run? Ive got a 266SC and we have had our eye on the larger World Cat for a few years now.

It runs great , i have never reset the trip or fuel count and on this trip we hit 3000 miles mark and we have burned 1999 gal of fuel in the total life of Bills boat . If you would like to take a ride on it it is at my house in W.OC all of the time . We all so have a brand new 290 EC in stock . Give me a call if you want . 410-430-4531

I will be giving you a call. We were thinking that we might just put new electronics in, but at a 10K bill for that, all of a sudden an upgrade isnt so out of the question.

My father and I are along the same lines of thinking with our 270TE....should we upgrade the electronics, or upgrade the entire thing....then again, a cabin would be nice too...what electronics package were you looking at?

Its a 1999 266SC. We put new hondas on her 3 years ago, so IMO new electronics would make it like an almost new boat. I have been looking at a Furuno Nav Net set up, but for everything I want, its a bit pricey.

The new Garmin units look very nice as well. Have been looking at the 4208 from them. They seem very user friendly and it doesnt carry such a big price tag as the Furuno.

If we keep the boat (which in all reality should be the case) a new set of canvas and she will be virtually brand spanking new.

HOWEVER, I have had to replace 2 keyboards due to the drool from looking at the 32 World Cat
