it was really light... under 10lb line but we twisted on a small piece of wire to the lure. no sinking line but i think it would have worked better. the lure was a custom tied streamer done by the guy that caught the fish. it took a lot of time to get him to bite the fly. soak the fly in blood and i bet it works better.
