    Overnight 10/4 10/5 - Washington

headed out saturday around 10 - went 3 for 4 on white marlins, set up for the night and picked up a pup swordfish - nothing for the rest of the night. Sunday - first thing picked up a yellowfin and a nice size wahoo (40-50lb range)....we saw marlin, however i think the gods were playing a trick on us...looks like the Judge and the Insure are going to be tied for billfish this year.......we saw 5 whites on sunday.

Remarkably i was able to take a couple pictures...ill post them later on.

Can't wait to see the pics. Hope you had some Wasabi on the boat so you could eat fresh tuna.

Oh you were on the Judge?? I was fishing with Leroy (Digger and Jimmy G) on that Lite Green Hull Ocean (Guided Discovery). Blaine sounded a bite frustrated. Was it with the fish or the crew?????

I was in the harbor when you the Judge returned, sounded like a party going on. And again I missed it.

    Nice trip

    Nice job Jersey!!!!

Your really doing a job on the marlin this year. Congrats!!!

Still looking for my first white on my own boat. You need to come with us one of these days and bring some of your white hot lady luck.

We had a pretty slow trip but better then most out there.

See my Hudson Canyon post for details.

We were about 100 yards off your starboard side when we hooked our first white sunday. The fish wiped out 5 baits before we came tight. Ended up catching him on a wahoo rig. Go figure.

It was both If you know my captain He has never seen a fish we shouldn't catch unfortunatly he had me miss two fish that I should have had and fish that refused to bite anything but a teaser or dredge. Thats why I love having him as our captain the boy HATES not catching every fish in the spread and he finds them for us every trip. If one of our crew stops giving only 80% and picks up a rod I am sure our 50% catch ratio will increase. What a year when you are frustated by missing marlin Oct 5th in the Washington. It was an unbelievable summer with over 85 billfish released for the year on Judge and another 85 in the spread we should have caught. Lets hope we see this kind of fishing as we head south next stop Charleston for Sails in 10 days.
