We should have went farther north.
But even with being south of the good yellowfin bit we still pulled off a nice catch and damn good times.
We realized the fish were farther north in the early part of the morning and started to troll north.
We made it up to the Spencer and realized we had a problem.
Seems when hydra Sports redid somethings on my boat they crossed up the fuel hoses.
Wow what a feeling when you have 3 tanks and running all three of different tanks and they all stop running.
Knowing it was no doubt a fuel problem we started banging on tanks to see if some how we lost all our fuel or it we got a bad batch of fuel.
First tank we hit all we heard was hollow sounds
Thank god when we hit the port tank you could tell it has some fuel in it.
We then realized that we just had to understand how they wired the boat and adjust. So we got it all fixed but our nerves no doubt pointed us towards home at that point. Sounds like we were heading towards the fish but got cut short.
Regardless another great day on the water......
Oh and thank you South Jersey Marina for one weighing in our Mahi 20 lbs and hooking us up with a slip for a few hours yesterday!!! We missed the heaviest of the year by .02 lbs![]()
