    outriggers

    Hello
My father has a 210 Boston Whaler Outrage w/o a t-top. I would like to get him outriggers for it as he spends the winters in the keys. He spends most of his time(weather permitting) offshore. I have no idea who makes good outriggers, is there a manufacture that has outriggers that slip into the existing rod holders so when they are not inuse he could remove them? Also are there any good sites that have them forsale?

    Thanks!

You have to make sure the T-top has the rigger mounting plates installed. They're flat, about 5-6" wide and run with the length of the boat.

I had a set of Rupp Top Gun's on my hydra sports. Have a set of Rupp riggers now, great customer service. I give them the S/N of the riggers and they know everything about their install, boat, length and etc. Very easy to order parts.

    You're looking for 'sideriggers'

They're good for smaller boats, like your Dad's. They're easy to use & you can store them out of the way, as the pole is telescoping.
