Out of OC/Md 9 18 05

On the tail of the Hurricane we ventured out Sunday and were greeted by nice conditions 1 crewmember was down w/Green disease but 3 of us were busy all day.Water 77 we treked South 60 miles to a well formed weedline that got 2 nice gaffers as soon as we got there.Made the decision to stay w/that bite on the troll and limited out 4 guys and lost as many though smaller than the first two.Talked w/ Bonehead who stayed North not sure how you did Ralph tried calling you a few times to get you on the bite.No Tunas but had a Sunfish next to the boat that one new crew was fascinated at.Things are heating up in ole OC guys.Hot lure was a 3 1/2 Drone spoon that was constantly under attack.Talked w/ Anthonys Ark (Bill) who was deeper not sure how he did.SharkJP was bailing them Dolphins. JP glad to hear the Motor started after a solinoid tap.Remove connection and regrease/install.
bTW Ralph the Red roof INN is behind us in the Pic...

Good job guys. We didn't stick around the lumps for too long. we didn't bring chunks and we sunk the boat in dolphin last week so we didn't want too many this week. We ventured out past the 40 then the 50, 100 and 500. Once we got to the 500 bump we saw the elite fleet all bunched up. We thought we were going to run into the billfish bonanza but I think the bite was all for one or two boats that did well. We did run into some quality dolphin between the 40 and 50 line. saw some whales and great bait just outside lumps. Thanks for the call dave. glad you got into them. It didn't take you long to figure out this offshore stuff. You are having a great year.
