Tarpon Fishing in Key West is in prime time right now. Check out Capt. Ted's report...he's been doing great. We can fish for them on short trips out of Key West, or arrange multi-day mothership trips out to the Marquesas. Key West Tarpon Report:

Regardless of what your fishing preference, our tarpon have shown up in Key West and its a great time to make your dreams of tangling with the silver king come true.

In Key West Harbor, our chum fishery aboard the light tackle center consoles has come alive. Multiple hookups with these truly amazing, aerobatic fish are a reality with this highly specialized technique — as evidenced by the experience enjoyed by Stamford, Conn. angler Bob Lewis and his 11 year old son Cade and 13 year old son, Cole.

The trio managed to go 5 for 9 in a four hour trip earlier this week; the 11-year-old was the top rod, hooking four fish and catching two. Cole hooked two and landed one, while dad Bob hooked three and landed two, including a 140 pounder. All the catches were made using shrimp boat trash and 20-pound spinning outfits.

Chumming not your thing? We've had some great live bait fishing as well. Mark Mezis of Washington Township, NJ jumped five fish the other day, coming close on two, all on live pinfish — in just four hours.

Our nighttime bite has been off the chain as well; during a busmans holiday outing this week, had a chance to fish the evening outgoing tide and managed to go 7-9 on the evening, including a 130-pound fish. This tidal situation is a great chance to tackle these majestic gamefish with fly rod or artificials.

Give us a shout and lets go chase the silver king!

Thanks,

Ted
