Damn!!!! Looks like OI is the place to be right now. May have to make the trek!
They are here but the weather is not. We will be fishing the first good weekend or over Thanksgiving if the weather works. Mark
30 foot seas today. Fished out of there monday on a friends private boat. All the tuna pictured were caught before 9 am. Then we bailed dolphin. Then went bottom fishing. Then releeased a big old hammerhead. Quit fishing just after lunchtime. Its definitely on fire down there. John Rogers has some good pics too.
Jake,
you might want to go east of your inlet.
Seems that body of water up there is holding, it has been between the 850 and the 150 the past couple of days and the WAHOO bite is on fire.
Good luck ! and see you guys in a week or so.
LOL jakes in FL so i guess i gotta take up his slack and make a showing for the Va beach fleet be there wed if all holds together good, the damn thing keeps moving up so less run more fish ...hopefully
Will be out there tomorrow on a private boat...ready for some slaughter-action
Drop them jigs back on the bite. even when trolling. We caught A bunch of those tunas in Jakes picture dropping the jigs back. And you know Funk wasn't slowing down for no jig bite. He was trying to get covered up on the troll. But jake and I dropped up back and jigged em at 6.5knots and got bamalamaed at least 5 times.
