    That method can be deadly..When I worked out west on the Long Range boats the guys did it all the time, they call it fishing on the slide..

    Ended up with 15 out of 20 or so bites. Did not get our first fish in the box until 11am (we ended up heading south of the 000's and the fish were 4 miles or so north.).

    Got one on the Jig (Tommy got him) late in the day...overall a good bite but we never could get the big wham. It was all singles and doubles...a couple triple bites in close which were cool too. TONS of Gannetts and porpoises on the bait. 200f seemed to be the magic depth for us

    That is one scrumptious looking catch. I have loged countless hours on the road and air to fish OI but have never put togeather such a smorgasboard.
