At times we do not even bother with the planner baits as the wwwwwb just flat outfished our planner lines. Not always but they did quite a few times. We also found we were catching when other boats were not putting their baits wwwwwb. Matter of fact this is true most of the time. I do personally believe this type of trolling works quite well at least for inshore BFT. What I do like when fishing wwwwwb is we can put a couple of deep baits on planners for Wahoo while tuna fishing at the same time and have not had any issue slow trolling for wahoo but most of the time we have not targeted Wahoo while tuna fishing. Would like to to more of this type of fishing and target Wahoo this coming season with the legal limit on BFT probably one per day.
