    Talking Oooh... Here it comes...

Been watchin that water off the Washington/ Norfolk... It screams of fish but every day that I have looked there was a filament of real cold crap between point "A" and "B" to get to the inside... Looks like it broke through that wall of ice and now there is a real possibility for the makos to squeak through when she gets a few more degrees warmer... She's not quite ready for pickin but busting through that wall certainly improves things...

Oh Oh Oh Oh! I can taste the mako kabobs now. I can see the sky full of flying mako birds... I Think I'm getting happy...

The part I'm sportin wood over is that it busted through that 5-10 mile thick wall of 50 degree crap that was sitting around the edge. Now the offshore fish have a path to get inside so they can fatten up on oily food...
The real water isn't here yet but now the warming from both sides can meet up and accelerate the process...

If you check out the sat shots from one of the more accurate pay sites you would see that the 60+ degree water in the Washington and Poormans is still offshore of the 1000 fathom line and not on the 100 line like that junk Rutgers shot is showing. That is a perfect example why you should not run offshore based on those free Rutgers charts.

She punched through that area pretty good... Got it off a pay chart too but can't put it up for trade mark. Shes 59 at the D Bay Buoy... Its not the temp thats got me worked up, its the wall that was in front is finally busted through. Has been breaking down for the last 36 hours or so... I understand about radiational anomalies can give a false temp like she is showing but what I see off all four sites I work with is that wall giving up the ghost. I watched it since last week when I even posted about 46 degree ice water.
No the, Temp isn't there yet for the fish I want but now shes got a path she can cross in with. Its also a bridge for both sides to warm it together... Not thinking billfish or tuna right now...

Yeah the punch through is there still but moved south. Might have been enogh of a break to allow the push though. I checked out the codar and all that cold crap sliding in from the north is racing down... Damn New Englnad guys sent it down just to irritate me...
The last push on that cold got squeezed into a pretty solid edge that went all the way down like almost to the point. The new batch looks broader, more difuse and isn't the 46 degree crap of a few days ago though...

So basically what we have is a highway connecting the path of the bluefish to move offshore and the mako's to move inshore to intercept them. just out of curiousity Deep. What drives the bluefish to move offshore? What food source or migration cycle are they following? I've never had any trouble finding the mako's but never truely understood what the bluefish where doing.
