Never seen this one before Bill. Thanks for bringing it back up. Outstanding footage of some damn frisky bill fish.
Question: these fish seem awful green at the wire, especially considering that you are using light tackle. Is this because of very aggressive boat handling, or just wild fish? Whatever it is it sure makes for one hell of a show!

Rob - Kevin grabbed that rod and the poor mate wanted to push the drag up for him. I think Kevin flinched his bicep and the little dude just about flew off the other end of the boat. I almost dropped the camera I was laughing so hard. If I remember correctly Kevin found Franky and Blaine on the dock next to us when we got back. I think they put a hurtin on the National Polar reserves that afternoon.

Nick - small blues are particularly feisty. but the aggressive boat handling does make for some green fish. But also you will notice the mate not cutting the line as quickly as they do today. I am sure it is better for the fish but it surely does alot for the show when they hang on for a few extra seconds.
