Have not seen anyone talk about these reels. I have done well with them (two hour battle with a 300 pound blue marlin on a TG 15 2 speed with 30 pound test power pro; 500 pound blue marlin on a TG 20 2 speed with 55 pound power pro). Never had a problem and always assumed these were just the Chinese copies of the high end Shimanos.
