What an awsome idea.
I would like to also like offer my boat to take active military for an offshore trolling trip in 2008. I can not hold as many a Canyon Runner but I can take 3-4 guys or gals. Maybe we can make a specific date to celebrate their service. We would be leaving out of VA Beach.

That is very generous of you. There has already been more replies than there is room for and there are alot of guys and gals that have been on one or more deployments to Iraq and/or Afghanistan that haven't said anything. These Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and members of the Coast Guard volunteered to serve a nation at war and the ones already serving volunteered to stay. Many have already served multiple year long tours and no matter what people think about the why, Americans have to admit that America's servicemen and women are people of character and strength.

The Offer is outstanding and as i said in the private message PLEASE PLEASE if you find any of our guys that are lower ranking or aren't as privledged as i am to get out bump them up in my spot. I'll get out a good amount now that i'm back but some of our lower ranking kids don't get to do this without saving for a few years an i'd hate for them to miss out on a once in a lifetime oppertunity
