Sorry for the late report. Well got a late start but made it in the water at 7:30. To the Point we go. Crew was John his better half Connie and myself in my boat. Water temp was 74.5 until we found a degree little temp change of a degree 75.5 and that's where they were over some nice structure. From 70 to 90 fathoms. Heard there was a tuna bite around the 650 to 500 in 1500 ft. but I only have a GPS and couldn't find them. Put out the spread and whack the long rigg goes off. It's a bull and jumping like a fish on crack just awesome. John has his first bull under control when the WWWFB get's whacked and another nice bull now we have 2 on. Stuck John's and then John stuck mine. Set spread back out and flat and long go off and the fight was on again and 2 more bulls in the box. Put spread back out and three on John and I were cranking and left the 3rd one alone until we could stick the 2 we had on. Then put lines back in and mayhem began we got covered up and 5 Mahi on. We went 3 for 2 on that run and lost a really nice bull about 50# oh well. We had the Point to ourselves until 1:00 pm. We picked up 2 more nice ones and decided to head for the barn. Everthing got whacked so color didn't matter.
