Sorry no pics! Camera took a crap!Thought I would share the info anyway. We left at 5:00 am and the ride out was FLAT. A few tuna were caught on Sat. north of the point a bit so we decided to try our luck. Headed toward the 850. Started setting the spread out in 50 fathoms and whammo! Picked up a dolphin on the right long right off the bat. Its going to be a good day!
Next five hours not a sniff. Boats around us were picking a few tunas but none for us. I guess our number didn't come up today. At noon we were dreading the trip back home at the end of the day so we decided to try to pick a few dolphin and head in. We picked up and ran in and found a nice thick grass mat in 40 fathoms. Backed up to it and spent about an hour and a half with the light weight spinning reel screaming. Decent 5-6 lb bailers. Kept 18 for the guys to enjoy released a few and headed home. All in all it was a nice to be on the water.
