    Thumbs up OI was on!

    Left the ramp at 6:30, 35mph cruise to the point, 2 of us. First bite was a quad, 4 in the boat(did the work). Second bite 3 hits 1 tight, gregg got him to the boat in short time, THATS WHEN THE # 2 GAFF MAN WENT TO WORK, 5 in the boat. (Pretty work) Third bite pulls off right at the boat, must have been a bad pair of crimpers I'm sure. Fourth bite hits out of nowhere, biggest fish of the day 42 LBS. Got the limit! Make a sandwhich for the ride and pull away from the point at 12:30. Nice ride in until the inlet (OF COURSE) no water in the sound, lots of new sand islands, clean fish, rods and boat at a friends house and on the couch in Richmond by 9:30. Power fishing at its best. All in all a great day.

    We caught all our yellowfins between the 538-542,71-120 fathoms.The fish seemed to prefer baits deeper in the spread,as we had hits on everything but the flat lines.None of our spread wasWWB though,and the pattern was tight to try and get multiple bites.They hit on naked ballyhoo,hoos with blue/W witches,hoos with islanderB/W,and a small B/P
    squid dangler chain with a hoo trailing.Didn't even put out a bar.I think they would bite anything once you find them.
