Fished yesterday with connor, Tyler, and myself starting south of the point in beautiful 75 degree gulf stream water. Looked great, problem was the current was ripping. Water inside was an ugly 65 degree pea soup so we grinded it out in the hot stuff. We were rewarded with 0 knockdowns for our efforts. Moral was low and at 2:30 with others packing up and us scrathing our heads we decided to try and work toward the tuna hole and see what happened. We never got there as finally we got a big bite on the planer in 65 degree green ass water. As we were fighting this fish about ten yft were crashing baits right from where we picked up our fish, skying five feet out of the water. That never gets old. Tyler cranked on the shovel and I put the steel to a 50# yft. That was one of the most satisfying tunas I have ever caught. No time to pat ourselves on the back, we're greedy and we want more. Lines back out and we troll through the most tuna marks I have ever seen. Nothing. Confused we check the planer and for some reason the fish aren't biting bare hooks???? %$%. Bait back up and proceed to get 3 more yft before time ran out on us. Could have reached our 3 person limit but going through OI in pitch black is not my idea of fun. It did get that dark right after we went through the bridge and the crack was real fun with the spot light starting to fade. Made it back safe and felt real good about the bottom of the ninth home run. Tyler, good fishing with you and we'll do it again soon. Also good fishing with Barry,(two by Four), who had one of the toughest days I have ever heard of fishing wise. Glad you guys got some tuna for your efforts.

4 for 6 yft, 3 50# and 1 35#
