Qualifier Chris We had a commercial work boat hit bottom at the end of the cut (east side) Saturday morning but he got off ok in a few minutes. You are right we went through the 7th span that was marked with spray paint and the current was cranking at the southern endof the bridge. You almost had to get a little bit of a running start to get through. My hats off to you guys running that span I dont know how you got those big boats under the bridge at the southern end!!!

Ill tell you this. I was glad I wasn't running the boat throught there. That one afternoon when it blew up and we had thunderstorms I really thought somebody was going to run into the bridge. Luckily nobody did. When that current gets cranking that is a scary spot.
