![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I fished on wed with Paul Groves and his friend Allen. We started off looking for the shrimpboats. There was only one problem as there werent any shrimpboats out there. Had to make a change to plan b now as we headed long to the floaters. Got out there and made some bait although it was difficult. The first fish in the boat was a 75 pound yf. We missed a couple bites and then added 2 more schoolies to the box. I was out of bait then so I started chumming and put another schoolie in the box. At this point I hadnt had a hit on flouro again so I switched both rods to 80 pound mono leader. I made some more bait and then reset the livies out and doubled up this time on straight mono to end up the day with a limit of 6 yf. ![]() ![]()

That's definitly not the first time I have caught more tuna on mono then flouro. I only use flouro on 60 or less because I think it has better abrasion resistence
