    NJ OffShore Oct 16, OI

Our crew from Cape May, NJ departed Oregon Inlet, NC on the chartered Dream Girl. On board were Island Girl, HatTrick, Penguin, Motivation, Miz Behavin and myself along with Captain Harry and the mate, Brad. We set up around the 950 near the hundred line with a target for YFT. Lot's of boats hooking up and we managed to pick off a few YFT. With things slowing a bit we picked up and ran to the south where we pulled up along side another OI boat with 10 on! Good place to stop.

We immediatly hooked into a double header and had steady action all afternoon. Lot's of life, whales, porpoise, sunfish, birds, etc. We had a few wahoo bite-offs, one mackeral in the boat and at least 15 YFT.

There's a great YFT bite on now and the crew of the Dream Girl made the most of it.

We may make another run at it later in the week. We're staying on the beach just north of the Nags Head Fishing Pier so I'll at least be doing some surf work chasing speckled trout. Either way I'm headed home soon to chase the stripers.

Fire up that rocket and point it south! You're always invited.
