OCMC 2nd Annual Kratz Memorial Bluefish Tournament

First, Franky and the Club do a great job with this little event, and I don't remember the amount, but once again they were able to send the scholarship a nice 4 digit check which beat last years donation. Well done as usual Franky, and thanks to all the other volunteers.

We fished Saturday and got lucky finding some nice size bluefish at the pork products. It was hard to stay focused listening to all the tuna being caught on the radio, but we did, and our efforts ended the day in 1st, 2nd & 3rd for the time being.

Sunday brought some drama to scales when our 2nd, and 3rd place fish were knocked out. We thought we had 1st locked up to ourselves until the last boat made it to the scales. The boys on the Big Herring, tied our fish with seconds to go!!!! Congrats go out to those guys and the other participants.

Congrats to you Mr. Campbell. it truly was a great event. All said and done we were able to raise $3830 for the Kratz Foundation.

And it was indeed tough listening to the tuna reports!!!
