Thanks for the info, Restless Lady. I've been lurking here for a few years and just getting around to my first post. What a great source of info. Can you or anyone else on here point me in the direction of the lumps you refer to around the hambone? Feel free to PM me if you feel you don't want the world to know. Am heading out tomorrow to that area and would love to get my friend's 6 year old his first Bluefin.
Thanks,
Mark

I know the Restless lady crew doesn't look at this site constantly, so i will answer for them. The Hambone is on EVERY fishing chart sold for this area. you can pick them up at tackle shops and West Marine. It would be a great idea to have a local chart with you when heading out there. lots of the other "hot spots" are on the charts.
Good Luck!! Catch that boy a tuna!!

Thanks for the reply Franky. I am familiar with the inshore lumps, but I guess I interpreted his post and his previous posts as him fishing some smaller hills around the hambone that weren't named and was wondering where they were. Am I misinterpreting?

Do you have a newer chart plotter? There is a lot of structure near the hambone- I am betting that Capt. Sean is referring to the bone itself, but I am not sure. Any of the plotters with chart cards should have all the stuff you need on them- start at the bone and check out the structure around it- thats how most of us have found things.
Again, Good Luck out there, catch a bunch
