    Ocean City, MD Bluefin Report

I read this info on another site. What do you think?

"Large bluefins were reported by scallop boats 26 miles south east of the Jackspot."

I bet an OC boat hangs one this weekend....

Must be alot oboats in OC that I can't see- who is gonna go? Most boats are high and dry. My boat and the Ursilla Priscilla are on my dock. I see the squid boat across from me and the get sum and paperboy on the other side of the marina. I dare say the only one that might go exploring would be the squidnation boat.

It iwll be interesting if someone does go.

When I read this I thought it was an April Fools joke like on one of the other boards but it sounds like it might be just for real. It would not surprise me. Guys are killing stripers right now on the Delaware Bay and in past years I always thought they do not show in numbers until mid-April. I am hearing about bunker and mackeral in the stripers stomachs so maybe the BFT are following the bait north now. It will be interesting to follow this and when I bring my boat up north from VA to Cape May around April 20 I thought about stopping inside the Washington and give BFT a shot.

Not me bro - my plans to fish all winter were foiled the first day I went out in Dec and realized I didn't have curtains. The bluefin rumor is about 3 weeks old. I got the numbers if you want them franky. Bluefins were spotted by a commercial boat. But you know what 3 week old numbers are worth.

Boat being pulled this weekend hopefully. A little mexican TLC and then back in that water.
