Anthony's Ark is a blowboater
OC Tuna Tournament
Will this site formally be covering the daily weigh-ins? If not, if anyone gets any info (current leaders, pictures, etc...) and can post, please do. Thanks.
Also, I wonder what the strategy was for most? Start off early inshore and try to kill a nice Bluefin and then head out looking for the YF's or straight to the YF grounds and try for a heavy stringer???

Man I wish I was there thought about taking a ride down to get out as its been a long time since i have seen a fish.
I would love as well if someone would put up info even if they do it in house I would be fine with them posting play by play and photos for the event. Im hoping by next year to be able to offer all the events something that makes sense for everyone as we have something pretty big in the works.. Just timing this year

Let me vent! It sucks not having this site covering the tourney with the play by play photo threads. They were great.
The Fishing Center which hosts the OC Tuna Tournament sucks at providing coverage online.
Congrats to the Crush'Em. Ritchie had a helluva 1st day. Maybe the single best day in tournament history?

Looks like 87 boats are entered into this years Ocean City Tuna Tournament. Total estimated prize money should exceed $476,000.
Around 25 boats laid today.
Action at the main scale at the Ocean City Fishing Center wasn't as fast and furious as we are accustomed to seeing. There were a lot of stringers weighed at Sunset Marina.
"Crush Em" set the bar high with a 259 bigeye tuna and a stringer weight of 594 lbs. One boat can't win both categories, so we will have to see what happens.
"Brother's Pride" had the second heaviest stringer, coming in at 248 lbs. Third place stringer was the "Kingfisher" with 243 lbs.
The second place single heaviest tuna was caught on the "First & More", with a 155 lb. bigeye.
Third place is the "Fishomatic" with a 117 lb. bluefin.
"McKenna Jane" caught 13 yellowfin, a bluefin and a dolphin.
"Osprey" caught 6 yellowfin.
"Rude Awakening" caught 8 yellowfin and a dolphin.
"Reel Chaos" caught 2 yellowfin and released a white marlin.
"Pumpin Hard" caught 6 yellowfin, a dolphin and released a white marlin.
"White Lightning" caught 3 yellowfin.
"Grande Pez" caught 5 yellowfin.
"Sea Slammer" released 3 white marlin.
"Momma T" caught a yellowfin and released a white marlin.
"Binnacle" weighed a 30 lb. yellowfin.
"Crush Em" had 335 lbs. of yellowfin tuna in addition to their 259 lb. bigeye.
"Lady Luck V" had a 204 lb. stringer.
"Give It Away" had 46 lb. yellowfin for a Junior Angler and a 48 lb. yellowfin for a Lady Angler.
"No Limits" stringer weighed 107 lbs.
"PLaytime" weighed a 34 lb. dolphin.
"Playmate" stringer weighed 78 lbs.
"No Quarter" weighed a 43 lb. yellowfin for a Lady Angler.
