Just a suggestion, I understand how they are trying to put the screws to you on a business level, but here's what I would say:

"I support responsible sportfishing and sportfishing tournaments. Fishermen provide more research and science through tournaments, license fees and tagging then any other user group. If you really want to do something productive then take the time to support efforts to stop the unregulated foreign fleets that are really causing problems for our world's oceans."

Then just hope they quote you accurately...lol

I'd tell them to publish their stupid article............. why do you feel the need to kiss their ass, everyone in the TACKLE industry, and everyone BUYING your products knows these people are jackasses.... don't let it bother you.
