OC Report Last Call 10/1

Fished in the washington today. Really wanted a marlin bite, but could not get away from the Mahi most of the day. Had just one angler. Killed his limit of 10, and got rid of a whole bunch more.

Also caught a 30ish pound yellowfin.

And caught a 140 pound Mako that originally clipped off a dink bait, then turned its attention to my left teaser. I gave it my favorite pink flasher on #12 wire with a horse behind it and game was on. He gave us a really good jump at one point right off the transom in flat water. Then he died of lead poisoning between the eye balls a few minutes later.

Any of you thinking about going should get going- the fishing is good.

Marli caught a few whites today (1 of which was bitten in half by a shark of some sort), Makatak caught 2 whites, Billfisher had 1, and Sizematters had 2. Also eveyrone had loads of dolphins and most of us had a wahoo bite or 2.

Pretty work there Franky. Sounds like some mixed bag fishing out there. Perfect for the kitchen sink spread!

Eric,

Frankie said you may be overnighting tonight. We're doing an ovrnite tomorrow.
Are you setting up inside the wash or south?

Thanks,
