OC Report July 7

We fished out of OC on the Evidently. Headed to the Wilmington to try for tuna, marlin, and anything that would bite. Pulled them back inside the west wall of the Wilmington in 62 fathoms. Lots of birds and slicks. Set the spread and five minutes later we have a white on the right flat, right teaser and right long rigger. Catch 1. Reset the spread, albeit leaving all of the bigger rods out and using only TLD30's and fished the general area all day. We had marlin bites all morning, just could not capitalize. Total saw 8 whites, 1 blue, catch 1 white. I think we were 1 for 5 on actual bites. Great day even with our low catch numbers!
