oc report 9/5

Fished yesterday out of oc. Decided to change plans and forget the bills and try to restock the freezer. Fished SE of the dog around 35 fathoms and managed to put 2 nice wahoo and a few dolphin in the box. Pulled the hook on a few hoos, including one nkce one at the boat.

Nicest part of the whole day was the 35 mile run in - sure beats 90!

We had the exact same day Larry but we got a YFT early in the morning. We got our first wahoo bite shortly after and starting targeting them, wire/plane a bait down/etc. We trolled 35-45 fathoms by the hot dog, and we probably ended up with 7-9 wahoo bites, got two of them in the box. Plenty of wahoo out there if anyone is looking to get em.

Nice job Larry, we were @ 085 line 37 FA just South of you and ended up 1 for 5 on Wahoo, 9 Mahi and some skippies and little blackfin tuna. Lots of hoos. Fun day..
