OC Marlin Club Labor Day WM Tourney

Another exciting weekend in OC for the Phat Mann.

First Crongrats to Cyntinory and Big Oh- to awsome teams.

I just got a report from OC that we ended up in third. We had 8 wm on day 1 (including a quad) just behind Cyntinery.What a great day they had as well!! Then Saturday we held on to second with only 1 white (not our day). We were now fished out.

Today was the final day and we knew the quality teams fishing today would make holding on to a place difficult. Tough sea conditions made their jobs more challenging today.


Big Oh passed us by today. Well done guys. Aparently we held on to third based on time.

What a great bunch of fishermen who fish out of here on a regular basis. The folks at Sunset are awsome and what can you say about Teasers. (Gotta go back to NC before the keno game gets the best of me and Mrs PM.) Don't worry Hurricane Moe's, we'll be back soon!

Great tournament. Congrats to all the winners!!! Lot's of tough competition. I can't imagine fishing in yesterdays conditions. The bite should only get better and hopefully we will have good weather for the challenge cup!!!!

we saw you out there and i think we got some good pics of your boat. we were on the hobie II a viking. we also had 1 whitey sunday and saw about 5. phat mann is a pretty boat. saw you guys steam north when you left the west wall... ate up that head sea.

We made a move that got us a few shots we did't capitalize on. The Phat Mann is one boat that loves a sea head too. Makes those 25 mile change of plans runs feasble- unless you end up leaving fish to find fish!!! OH NO!!

If I bring a half dozen good guys including me, next june, rent a house at pirates cove, drink at hurricane moe's, eat at lone cedar, buy T-shirt's, and only go inside to gawk..........Can we fish three days next year in june at our expense on Phatt Mann? Jesus! That is one Beautiful Boat. Ps, I do need music to fish, is that possible?
