OBX Tuna Charters

I was thinking of heading down to the Outerbanks in mid-April during Easter break. Any suggestions on a good charter boat/Captain in the area? I was thinking of doing a Yellowfin charter with my two sons.

YFT in April .. you better go to Hatteras. Charter with either Rom Whittaker on Release or Jay Kavannah on Bite me. Two of the best there.

Second the Outer limits. Also look into the Phideaux. They are tuna machines and are hilarious. Would also look at Qualifier, Trophy Hunter, & Swordfish.

david peck on the skiligal or the tuna fever with billy maxwell are two great boats. tuna fever books well in advance, but i don't know how any of the bookings are going this year.

check out the marlin mania at teachs lair, capt. jim has been catching tuna all winter long,, and april is the best tuna time in hatters.
