I AM BY FAR NOT A TROUT GUY. It seems the trout secrets are tough to come by down there. Here is what i do. Go to Kitty Hawk in the fall and find your sloughs on the backside of the shoals on a low tide. Get out before daybreak and work that slough early early...before the sun comes up. I like to just try different color grubs. I switch often and try alot of colors. This is a species that has eluded me. I have caught my share of 3 pounders.....but most of them came in a few days when every cast was in the meat. I just got lucky a few days and a school was stacked up. I will be anxious to hear some real knowledge on these beautiful little fish.
