    Oahu Hawaii

I will be staying at Waikiki Beach the last few days of June and the first full week of July and I am looking to see if we have any members out there. I hope to get a few days of fishn' in and need a boat recomendation. This will be my first trip to the left coast and I am trying to get things set up before I get there. Thanks in advance for your help.

You can go over to Ala Monana Harbor. There are a few boats for charter. Can't remember any names. Most of the fishing is over on the Big Island at Kona. There is good fishing to be had. There is another marina with a few boats over on the North Shore at Halewia. (can't spell hawaiian)

I would look up Captain Shannon Frazier on the Live Bait. He is in the Waianae Small Boat Harbor on the west side. When I lived there we would fish with him and always do well. Here is his web page http://www.live-bait.com/

Better off flying oveer to the big island for a day or two. Lots of good boats over there. Try Freddy Rice on the Ihu Nui.

lots of good captains on the Kona side. It only costs $39 one way to fly here. The Ihu nui is my fave but the Ho'okele, Norther Lights, and the Sea wife II has been pulling up some monsters with The Legend catching the grander this year.

Give Kevin on Bite Me 1 his props too--has several 500+ fish so far this year.
