Since, I'm partial to Golden Tilefish. My vote is for this one since he missed the Record by 4 pounds and I broke the record by 4 pounds A day/night doesn't go bye without me day dreaming of that day.

Please consider this post as my entry for the best picture/content. My girl weight in at 63.8 pounds! And is now a N.J. record and a pending I.G.F.A. record. Back in May, I landed a 51 pounder and lost the pool to Dwayne who tied the record with a 59+ pounder! Capt Jim of Atlantic Star saw the disappointment in my face when I lost with 20 minutes to go and said to me, Dennis there's a Bigger one out there with your name on it. And so it came to be.....

Great Pics....I have a lot of favorites but these are a few of my favorites that I have handy without digging too much.

I really like the angler in the picture

Got lucky on the Flying Marlin. She was a big one and tore up the ocean a few times. Black Marlin

A buddy took this right after we caught a 7-800pound Blue. I was still shaking!!

Boy there are some great pictures in this thread, great idea Dorian. Here is a picture that might take you back to your roots up here...

To say that I've been bit by the jigging and casting bug in the last couple of years is an understatement. I love catching fish many different ways- from trolling to chumming to live baiting, you name it and I enjoy it...but there is something about the challenge of hunting the right fish, presenting a piece of plastic or rubber to them in a way that they have to have it, and then fighting them on this relatively light gear that really speaks to me.

This year we decided to go all in on this type of fishing for bluefin, and barely even used our conventional gear. We had a lot of frustrating days, fishless days, and days where we really felt like we were chasing our tails around. Over the course of the summer we learned a ton about finding the "right" fish for this style of fishing, and were able to have some success. Though we still have a ton to learn, we feel much more confident in our ability to "hunt" than we did at the start of the year.

This picture was taken out at Jeffries on one of the days that our hunting was successful, and is one of a series of 3 that shows us setting up on these fish. This was mid-cast on a school of 150-300 pound fish that were hammering juvenile herring- if you click on the picture and look close you will see the individual fish

If you have been bit by the jig/pop bug like I have, this is what dreams are made of...

My best catch without question is my wife
This picture represents a very special day for me. I know a red this size is hardly a trophy to most of you but it is the only one my wife has ever caught. I wish my fist one had gone better than 30". My wife caught it while on vacation in Ft. Myers, Florida a couple of months ago. I didn't find out until we were there that she had booked an inshore charter for us. She caught the redfish ten minutes into the fishing. She also caught mangrove snapper and spanish mackerel, also firsts for her, but it was this red that really put the bend in her rod and the smile on both of our faces. I caught some snook, mangrove snapper, and one slot red that we kept for the grill. It was a beautiful Florida morning without a cloud in the sky.
