"The Tarheel State"

To me, this picture represents one of the most unique places in the world. One rich with beauty and resources. A place that I want to be and will never leave....

That is my pier in the background. I was on my way in from fishing without much luck. I decided to try a spot that I had never really fished, but always thought it may be a good one. I was rewarded with the prettiest fish of them all. This is our state fish also.

I have a fascination for Drum, so I always try to get a picture of them. I was by myself when this was taken, and with the dark conditions, I wasn't expecting anything good to come out...I think the camera caught something really neat in this one...for me anyway!

Thanks Trey. Seems like some have a lot more blue than others..it was too dark when I caught this one to see how much blue he had. That flash really showed it. You have a lot of "Blue-Tailers" down where you're at don't you?
