just couldn't stand it any more. a sick mother-in-law, a stressed out wife, kids starting school, short staffed at work, reels piling up. what's the answer? right! go fishing!

i launched my boat out of half moon bay and took a 2 hour and 25 kt run to a seamount called the guide. we stuck a dozen albacore and called it a day. nice to get out on the water again. this was my first tuna ever on the new boat. it ran perfectly, right down to the new flir thermal imaging camera.

Great pics and report alantani. Way to break the new boat in. Sometimes, being out on the water can cure all those things, even if it's just temporary. Congratulations.

Nice looking pacific longfins Alan. Very much enjoy your reports and photographs.
Ignorant question: are you allowed to cut game fish at sea out West?
    Thanks for the report,
