    Norfolk Cayon Deep Dropping

If there is anyone out there who likes dogfish, you need to get out there and clean up some of the wrecks...
We had a pretty good day, putting some seasbass in the box along with 1 wreck fish, and a few tile. What was really amazing was all the dog fish, on stucture and not on structure. We caught em 600 feet down... They were everywhere.
Nice day it was "slick cam" and the temps were up enough to shed some coats. Hope we get a few more days like Sat. coming up...

We were dropping in 50 fathoms and were "ate up" with the damn things. I kept thinking that if we went out to 100 fathoms we would probably get away from 'em. Guess I was wrong. Time to chase tuners..

I co-captained on the Jill Carrie yesterday with Capt Jim Brincefield. We had the same problem with dogs as deep as 600 ft. We did manage a couple of spots that yielded some nice sea bass and a few good tiles, including a new blue line tile all tackle world record that weighed in at 18lb 10oz.
