Norfolk canyon friday

We set out at 4am friday for the temp break at the Norfolk.It was a decent ride out but the break was almost 10 miles east of were the last sat shot showed it.Lines in at the south wall and bam 2 gaffers.Over the next hour 2 more gaffers.We thought we were in for a good day but it was not to be that was it the temp break was moving as fast as we could find it.Two boats a little south of us reported two Blue Marlin releases.It didn't seem like anyone else around us did much else(Except the blue suits).So we headed home and were treated to short spaced 3-5's with no backside in our face.Cape henry was a pure joy slowin us to 12kts with 6 plus breakers.Man I love this sport we'll get um next time.

We saw you heading in as we were heading out. What happened to light and variable forecast? It did lay down overnight but it kicked up to around 20 when the sun came up. Fortunately it laid back down during the day and we had a nice ride in. Tallied a limit of tiles with a couple of goldens in the mix along with a 60 lb YFT.
