    Nontypical HUGE Mako revisited

Well I tried this once and it disappeared, lets try again.

What do you do when you catch a state record 870 plus pound Mako? You send it to Gray Taxidermy and have it mounted. Well, the huge mount arrived today and angler Jim Hughes and Capt. Terry Layton graciously offered to diplay the fish at the OC Marlin Club. I have pics from the arrival to the hanging and will try to post them here. Many thanks to the crew from Sunset Marina and Alban Diesel for their help. Lets hope it works this time.

HOLY SHEET! How would you like to be swimming with him in the water? What an awesome mount!!!!! Gray's is still the best. I am looking at Gray's mount of whitey right now.

I agree, Gray's does an awesome job. People sometimes complain about the crating, but look at that crate it came in- that was no joke.

Very proud to have that fish hang at the club

Thanks for posting Franky. That is an awesome mount. She was one big pig. I was watching the weigh-in from A dock when they came in. Very cool of them to put it on the wall at the Marlin Club.

That has to be one of the best mounts I have seen hanging. Pretty cool of the anglers to have it displayed in the club house.........
