The biggest Blue ever taken was 1805 lbs out of Hawaii in 1970, and many people believe the blue marlin can reach 2000 lbs. I'd like to see that , but killing fish at half that size will make it hard. They still kill a s***load of Blues in Hawaii, the native people eat 'em.
