New Show "Wild Recon"

Anybody see the previews where the guy bear hugs a little Mako and jumps out of the boat. At another point it looks like he gets slapped in the face by a shark he is trying to get off of the swim platform. I can't wait to see that stuff. He has got to get bitten at some point in the season. Nothing like good sharky entertainment on a tuesday night!!

Another show has some guy jumping out of a helo and grappling a marlin. Yeah!

Most definately sensational. In a nutshell I thought it sucked. They had the host using ridiculous methods to try and collect fin samples. Although it was fun watching him get slapped in the face a few times, trying to subdue a fresh shark on a swim platform using your knees and all your body weight is surely going to cause damage to the shark. How he didn't get bit I don't know. I'm no scientist but pushing a shark through the water backwards sure seems like a horrible method of trying to keep it immobile.
Madman of the sea on the other hand was much better than I expected. Not much different than what me and my friends might do with a large budget and a camera crew. I will be watching that again.
